Does special forbearance followed by a private sale qualify for an incentive payment?

Can I use the special forbearance option to do a hold on foreclosure activities in order for the veteran to complete a private sale, thereby stopping additional costs like attorney fees? If so, will this qualify for an incentive payment when I report the default cured since the loan will be paid in full? Incentive payment is available in case the loan is delinquent for 61 days and also, if the duration of the forbearance is at least 1 month.
