Does having a VA loan limit a veteran’s right or ability to sell the property?

No, the veteran still has the right to sell the property at any time. He or she can sell the property to a non-veteran or to a veteran. However, in cases where the loan is closed after the 1st of March, 1988, the lender or the VA may review the qualifications of the assumer first before approval.
